Rainbow Laces is a national campaign taking place every year, to promote LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport.

Started by Stonewall in 2013, over a million people have laced up in support of LGBTQ+ inclusion in sport, fitness and physical activity. But this must-win game isn’t over yet.

Large parts of the LGBTQ+ community still can’t be their true selves whilst attending or participating in sporting events. That's why the campaign is still going.

Since Rainbow Blades was formed in 2020, the Rainbow Laces campaign has formed a central part of our activity.

On a dedicated men's and women's match day each year, we have worked alongside the club to highlight the importance of inclusion in sport to fans. Activations have included Rainbow goal nets, Rainbow corner flags and Rainbow flags above the stadium, with players wearing special Rainbow Blades t-shirts sharing the 'United for All' message.

We've also produced a film each year in partnership with the club, national media or the Premier League, to ensure that it's not only those in the stadium that hear the message.

Keep an eye out for our 2024 Rainbow Laces campaigns in late Autumn/early Winter.
